Description

How you will make an impact: As a Laundry Attendant you will be responsible for performing laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Properly sort, wash and dry linens following the approved laundry procedures * Fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures * Collect soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens * Transport supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas * Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens * Maintain the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition Qualifications: * Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry or equivalent combination of training and experience is an asset * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing * Able to operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, linen press, and clothing labeler * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting * Physically able to carry out duties of the position Position Requirements: * Shift: 12hr/Day * Rotation: 14 Days On/ 14 Days Off

Responsibilities

Responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and distributing linens to clients while maintaining laundry rooms in a sanitary condition. Duties include inspecting linens for wear and tear and transporting supplies to appropriate storage areas.
