Description
Description Responsible for the processing, distribution and storage of washable linen, garments and other items. Performs basic laundry tasks which include washing, folding, mending, inspection and fabrication of specialty items. Cleans and services building areas according to established procedures. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around facility. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. This position is full-time (32 hours per week) and includes a full benefits package. Requirements High School Graduate or equivalent Related experience in the healthcare setting is preferred Knowledge of proper housekeeping techniques and procedures Knowledge of appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies use to completed assigned duties Able to communicate effectively in English
