An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Porter at Holiday Inn Express in Poole. You will have the opportunity to join a developing employer who has the passion and drive to deliver first class service and a quality employee experience.
Our guests deserve the highest level of cleanliness and comfort within our bedrooms, and it is your job to ensure that this happens. As our Laundry Porter, you will also be responsible for room inspections as well as checking public area for cleanliness and maintenance issues and for managing the everyday activities of the Housekeeping team.

• Clean assigned public areas throughout the hotel (Lobby, hallways, bathrooms, lifts, restaurant and bar area).
• Removes rubbish in all public area and public bathrooms /toilets.
• Clean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keep all metal surfaces shiny.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, polishes floors and Vacuum where required.
• Ensure walls are free from dirt and stains.
• Lend a hand to colleagues in other areas of the Housekeeping Team when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Fulfil any reasonable requests from our guests to ensure that you can satisfy their comfort, security and Safety.
• Must follow at all times Group Policies and procedures with regards to Fire, Health Safety, Security standards.
• Record and store and left behind / lost items.
• Reporting any defects, maintenance or repairs within the public areas as soon as possible on the hotels maintenance recording system.
