Job Summary The Laundry Production Attendant performs all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, organizing, and delivering of linen used in the hotel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Keep track of and record all linens produced from the ironer and report any shortages or discrepancies to the Laundry Supervisor. Assist with preparing, counting, and recording new linen and discard linens- properly mark and record. Assist with monthly linen inventory. Separate, mark, and record stained and discard linen, place in appropriate carts. Maintain organization and cleanliness of designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and report damages/malfunction of equipment. Must be able to cross-train in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas. Competencies include: Is dependable and demonstrates an outstanding attendance record and is punctual. Displays high level of professional integrity and ethical conduct. Maintain calmness and composure under high levels of pressure. Adapt to frequent change, fast paced environment, delays, or unexpected events. Pays close attention to details. Ability to multitask and uses time efficiently and effectively. Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills. Requirements Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include: No prior education or training needed. High volume/ fast-paced environment experience preferred. Basic English – verbal. Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements include: The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
