Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the entire laundry process including sorting, washing, drying, ironing,

folding, and distribution of linens and scrubs for healthcare staff and patients.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all laundry meets infection control protocols and quality assurance standards in

accordance with healthcare regulations.

  • Staff Supervision: Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate laundry team members to ensure efficient and

effective performance.

  • Production Planning: Monitor production output and implement process improvements to meet demand

while minimizing delays and waste.

  • Inventory Management: Track linen usage, inventory levels, and coordinate orders with suppliers to

ensure adequate stock of materials and supplies.

  • Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety standards.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on production metrics, downtime, staff performance, and operational issues

for senior management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • May require standing for long periods, lifting moderate loads, and working in a warm, humid

environment.

  • Shift work and occasional weekend availability may be required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Hospitality, or a related field required. In lieu of degree a

minimum of 6 years laundry services experience will be accepted.

Qualifications/Training:

  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in manufacturing, laundry, or similar environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and leadership presence.
