Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for experienced enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Laundry Services Assistant to support residents in daily living,

Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry and distribute clothing/linen
  • Maintain adequate stocks of supplies at all times
  • Ensure chemicals are available for washing and the correct wash cycle is used for all loads
  • Ensure heavily soiled items are handled in line with Infection Control Procedures

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need

  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
  • Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Experience working in a commercial laundry facility and/or in working in a health care facility
  • Fulltime availability and Full-time work rights preferre
