Description This is a full-time position including some weekends and holidays: · Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the hotel laundry facility · Train and oversee laundry attendants to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to job descriptions · Monitor washing, drying, folding, and distribution of hotel linens and towels · Maintain inventory of linens/towels and report damage or shortages · Ensure proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment including washers, dryers, presses, and folding machines · Monitor chemical usage and ensure safe handling of detergents and cleaning agents · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area · Ensure compliance with OSHA, hotel brand standards, safety and sanitation guidelines · Coordinate with Housekeeping department to ensure timely linen availability for staff · Assist with laundry production during peak times · Inspect linens for quality, stains and wear, removing from circulation when needed · Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance · Assist with monthly linen inventory · 1-3 years experience in hotel laundry operations or housekeeping · Prior supervisory experience preferred · Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. · Ability to accurately report information. · Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures. Requirements Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, writing, typing Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs Laundry facility with exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals Other duties may be assigned.
