PURPOSE As the Laundry Supervisor at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you are responsible for overseeing the laundry operations, ensuring that all linens and garments are impeccably cleaned, maintained, and available to meet the needs of our guests and team members. Your supervision ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of our on-site laundry services. SUPERVISORY SCOPE Laundry Attendant ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring timely and high-quality laundering of linens and uniforms. Team Supervision: Supervise laundry team members, including scheduling, training, and managing workloads to maintain productivity and standards. Maintenance & Inventory: Oversee the maintenance of laundry equipment and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock and functioning equipment at all times. Quality Control: Implement and monitor cleaning standards and procedures to ensure high quality of laundered items. Efficiency Improvements: Identify and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the laundry operations. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff, such as housekeeping personnel and other room attendants, to ensure timely turnover of rooms. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: Two (2) years of experience in laundry operations. Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals. Skills and Abilities: Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of laundry operations and equipment. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and manage operations effectively. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in monitoring laundry quality and maintaining equipment. Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to manage operational challenges. Communication: Effective communication skills for coordinating with other departments and managing team members. PREFERRED Education and Experience: One (1) years of experience leading others in a supervisory or lead role. Certification in laundry services or management is advantageous. Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
