Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $15.00 Hourly Job Category: Environmental Services The Laundry Technician is an integral part of The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital team. This position is tasked with providing clean laundry and orderly distribution to the assigned areas of the hospital. This position is responsible for separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry as well as other duties as needed under the supervision of the laundry coordinator. The Laundry Technician should provide a clean, safe environment for our patients, their families and our staff. Shift: Saturday's 2:00-10:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Overall processing of linens and related duties required to achieve this task Performs daily tasks like separating, washing, drying, pressing and folding laundry to provide adequate supply of linen and clothing for staff and patients. Qualifications: Experience: Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required, laundry or related work experience desirable Base Pay & Shift Differentials: The Laundry Technician hourly rate begins at $15.00 per hour and goes up based on education and experience. BCHC also offers shift differentials for working evening, nights or weekend hours. If you were to work those time frames, that amount would be added to your hourly base rate each hour. Approved rates are as follows: Weekdays - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m: +$1.25/hour Weekdays - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m: +$1.25/hour Weekends - 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m: +$1.50/hour Weekends - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m: +$2.75/hour Weekends - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m: +$3.00/hour About Us Our work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.
