The Laundry Wash Attendant is an essential member of the Housekeeping team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic . The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.
The Laundry Wash Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel. Successful candidates will be willing team players who can accept assignments on an as-needed basis, in order to promote teamwork .

Responsibilities

• Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for washing. Sorts out stained or torn linen.
• Loads washing machines with the appropriate items for a load. Weighs all loads and uses the appropriate amount and type of cleaning chemicals for each load.
• Moves washed linens to dryers. Assures that load size and drying time is correct given linen being dried. Removes linen from driers and delivers it to appropriate area for folding.
• Operates and maintains washing and drying equipment. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager. Keeps laundry valet area organized and stocked with needed chemicals.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact .
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
• Passion for cleanliness and a beautiful product is required .
• One year Luxury Hotel Housekeeping Experience a plus.
