Description Memorial Community Health is seeking a part-time Laundry Worker to join our team. This is a day shift position working three shifts per week plus every other Saturday. Previous experience working in environmental services in a healthcare setting preferred. The position executes all general laundering including linens, articles of clothing, etc. in a clean, safe, and aseptic manner. Job Duties: Processes soiled linens according to procedure. Processes clean linen appropriately and accurately. Monitors all linens in the organization. Maintains laundry work area and equipment in a neat, organized and effective manner. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of residents’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Prior experience preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to apply understanding and problem solving skills to carry out instructions
