Description

We are seeking a Laundry Worker to join our team at Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility. Duties include, but are not limited to: Sort soiled laundry (e.g., clothes, linen, bedspreads) Record receipt and release of laundry Review manufacturer’s manual to measure cleaning solutions and operate commercial laundry equipment to clean and sanitize laundry Fold roughdry laundry Operate sewing machine to repair resident clothes or linen Perform housekeeping duties (e.g., sweep and mop floors, dust equipment, wash windows) In accordance with Section 124.11 (B) (2) of Ohio Revised Code, Director of Administrator Services has determined this classification to be in the unskilled labor class & exempt from written examination. Responsibilities
