About you
We are looking for up to three Law Clerks to join our Commercial, Wills and Estates and Regional Teams. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team in a full-service South Australian law firm. As a Law Clerk with Mellor Olsson, you will be responsible for providing legal support to a specific team. To succeed in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be highly organised. You will be a team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
About the role
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Assisting with drafting documents and correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of briefs, copying and scanning
- Conducting legal research
- Attending court or client meetings and taking accurate notes
- Liaising professionally with clients
- Assisting with opening and closing files
