We have a great opportunity to hire a detail-oriented full-time Law Clerk to join our Family Law practice.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Management of matters from open to close: intake, retainers, directions;
  • Communicating with clients, court staff, and other third parties by phone and email;
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence;
  • Preparing and electronic filing of various court materials using DMS (iManage experience is an asset) and Primafact;
  • Performing administrative duties: calendaring, bring forward managements, filing;
  • Understand and apply knowledge of The Rules of Family Law

Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the firm.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess at least two years’ experience as a legal assistant/law clerk working in family law. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to interact with professionalism and diplomacy.
Salary is commensurate with skill level and years of experience.
