Our sophisticated negotiation experience and our passionate dedication to the highest level of professionalism can help clients through this challenging time. Whether a situation requires patient cooperation between partners or vigorous litigation through the court system, we will take the path most likely to fit your needs. We are a hybrid firm with a 4 days in office and one day remote model.

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for a confident, detail-driven professional with:

  • A Law Clerk Diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Family Law.
  • Comfort with a hybrid schedule that is 4 days in person and 1 remote each week.
  • Strong working knowledge of Family Law Rules and Rules of Civil Procedure, including all key filing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in essential legal software including DivorceMate, PC Law or Soluno, Worldox, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and CaseLines.
  • A solid understanding of court procedures and experience dealing directly with clients and legal professionals.
Responsibilities

As a Family Law Clerk you will support our approximately two (2) Associates/Partners in the creation of legal documents, trial prep, and court appearances.

  • Draft, prepare, and review legal documents including affidavits, pleadings, disclosure briefs, and financial statements.
  • Handle full-cycle trial preparation: organize exhibits, coordinate timelines, and prepare counsel for court.
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at every stage.
  • Coordinate court filings (including e-filing) and track filing deadlines in compliance with Family Law Rules and Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff professionally and empathetically.
  • Transcribe legal correspondence (letters, memos, documents), and manage/close files.
  • Schedule and manage calendar obligations for assigned lawyer(s) including meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Support general administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, binding, and related duties to keep the practice running smoothly.
