Job Details Job Location: San Diego HQ - SAN DIEGO, CA 92108 Salary Range: $27.00 - $27.00 Hourly LAW CLERK Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2L or 3L law student to join our Sexual Assault Team as a Law Clerk. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain practical experience in civil litigation, with a focus on case preparation, legal research, and drafting pleadings. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute 20+ hours per week in a hybrid work environment. The position is open to continuing through the remainder of law school, providing consistent exposure to meaningful legal work and mentorship from experienced attorneys. SALARY AND BENEFITS: $27.00 per hour Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. Job duties will include: Assisting in drafting civil complaints, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents under attorney supervision. Conducting research on statutes, case law, and legal precedents relevant to complex sexual assault cases. Supporting attorneys in organizing and analyzing case files, evidence, and client records. Preparing summaries, exhibits, and other materials for use in pleadings, depositions, or trial. Working closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure efficient case preparation and progress. Assisting with file management, document organization, and other tasks necessary to advance cases. QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Current enrollment as a 2L or 3L law student at an accredited law school. Prior experience with legal drafting through coursework, legal clinics, internships, or similar roles. Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze and summarize legal issues clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Availability to work at least 20 hours per week in a hybrid environment. Demonstrated interest in civil litigation and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault preferred.
