We are a dynamic boutique law firm located in the heart of downtown Burlington, proudly representing clients in Injury and Disability Claims, Employment Law, and other Civil Litigation Matters.
Our practice is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Intermediate Law Clerk with a passion for advocacy, client service, and professional growth.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Required: Minimum 1 year of Personal Injury experience in Ontario and the ability to work from our Burlington office.
  • You may be:
  • A law clerk with 2–5 years of plaintiff PI experience (or 3+ years in defence PI) seeking more responsibility.
  • A legal assistant eager to transition into a law clerk role.
  • Someone looking to grow into working on 80–100 active AB and Tort files with increasing complexity.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly organized, a problem-solver, and a team player.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of Ontario Personal Injury experience (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, SABs, and LAT procedures.
  • Proficiency in Primafact (Clio an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of Accident Benefits (AB) and Tort files from start to finish, including limitations management.
  • Schedule events, serve required documents, and maintain detailed calendars.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, non-parties, and service providers.
  • Prepare AB forms, pleadings, LAT forms, affidavits of documents, and productions.
  • Handle undertakings: drafting charts, following up with counsel, and ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain Primafact files (Clio experience is an asset).
  • Review mail, monitor deadlines, and ensure all interlocutory steps are completed.
  • Prepare accounts and keep files court-ready.
