ICITAP is a cornerstone of America’s global strategy for combating transnational crime, terrorism, countering trafficking in persons, establishing rule of law and enhancing human rights in developing countries. Amentum is the contract service provider to the DOJ ICITAP and Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) programs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Law Enforcement Advisor/Instructor (Project Coordinator) - in Colombia. This position will be responsible for assisting the Attaché and Deputy Attaché as liaison with various U.S. and Colombia Government programs and officials, optimizing opportunities for collaboration and cross-training; facilitating supplemental in-country training and mentoring with participation in other international or regional Anti‐money Laundering (AML) and Non‐Conviction Based Asset Forfeiture (NCBAF) programs or related training events to reinforce international financial crime investigations. The incumbent maintains thorough knowledge of the project, as well as an understanding of how it impacts other stakeholders. Ensures all AML and NCBAF training needs for the Colombia National Police (CNP), and other stakeholders are met.
