Make a Difference The Law Enforcement Officer provides an overall environment of SAFETY; serves & supports the patient delivery system, minimizes disruption, renders service support to run hospital operations, and strives to provide an exceptional positive experience to all people. Supports the operational needs and goals of the department. Incumbents in this position are expected to role model a professional, service-minded behavior. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Indiana Driver's License required. Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and/or Public Safety preferred. Prior law enforcement experience preferred. Ability to perform basic computer functions. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively manage conflicts. Ability to effectively manage negotiations. Ability to effectively use interpersonal skills. Ability to empathize/relate with others.
