JOB DESCRIPTION

Law Student Volunteers will:
Conduct legal research and write memoranda
Draft pleadings and discovery requests
Prepare motions, mediation statements, and pre- and post-trial filings
Participate in experiential learning opportunities, which may include attending depositions, meetings with witnesses and experts, court hearings, and mediations
All work must be conducted on-site in the Washington, DC office. Remote work is not permitted.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a U.S. citizen
Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or law program is required
Completion of the first year of law school prior to application deadline (October 1st)
Successful completion of a background investigation is necessary
Commitment of at least 15 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks per semester
