Description

Second Nature Lawn Care is expanding, and we’re searching for a Service Manager who leads by example, loves developing people, and takes pride in delivering five‑star turf results for our customers across Middle Tennessee.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Mentor: Coach a team of lawn‑care spray technicians—train, develop, and motivate them to hit quality and production goals.
  • Inventory & Equipment: Oversee chemical and parts inventory, coordinate loading, and help handle routine maintenance or repairs on trucks, sprayers, and small engines.
  • Customer Success: Jump in on service calls, solve problems on‑site, and ensure every customer interaction ends with a “wow!”
  • Strategic Input: Partner with ownership on route density, seasonal programs, and process improvements that keep us ahead of the competition.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Natural leader who’s self‑motivated, honest, and hard‑working.
  • Clear, confident communicator—whether you’re speaking to a first‑year technician or a long‑time client, you communicate expectations clearly and consistently.
  • Organized multitasker who can juggle schedules, inventory counts, and last‑minute weather pivots without breaking a sweat.
  • Passion for lawn care or green‑industry experience is a plus (but we’ll train the right person).

Must‑Have Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean MVR.
  • Reside within 30 miles of Thompson’s Station, TN.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

The Perks:

  • Full‑time, year‑round position—no winter layoffs.
  • Medical (we pay half your premium), dental, and vision insurance.
  • Company‑paid life insurance and short‑term disability.
  • Paid time off and holidays after 90 days; paid vacation after one year.
  • Employee discounts on lawn programs and tree/shrub care services.
  • A culture that actually lives its core values—integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, join us in building a winning team, and grow with a company that’s redefining lawn care in Tennessee, we’d love to meet you!
