THE POSITION: We are seeking a skilled Lawn Care Spray Technician to play a key role in expanding our Lawn Maintenance Division. This position is ideal for a green-industry professional who understands the science and craft behind turf health—from precise spray applications to effective fertilization and responsible pesticide use. The right candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and operates with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to best practices. This is a full-time position with pay starting at $20-22/hour (based on experience) and weekly pay. RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other treatments to lawns and landscapes Follow all product labels and safety guidelines for chemical handling and application procedures Operate hand tools, ride-on equipment, spray equipment, and company vehicles Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest issues and determine treatment needs Interact with clients directly in-person or via email/phone about services, treatment plans, and recommendations Utilize mobile device to document visits and services rendered, photos, client concerns, and requests for manager follow-up Assist with general lawn maintenance as needed: mowing, pruning, bed maintenance, etc. REQUIREMENTS: MUST have a valid driver’s license with no major MVR infractions Pesticide license or Turfgrass degree/certificate a plus Familiarity with spray treatment techniques and lawn maintenance best practices Professional experience with lawn/landscape spraying and spreading equipment Understanding of chemical labels and ability to calculate rates/amounts of products needed for task Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions, both hot and cold Physical capability to lift greater than 50 lbs.
