JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional lawn care services to Amico owned properties in the Windsor / Essex Region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred.
  • Valid G-class driver’s licence (with clean abstract).
  • Ability to safely operate commercial lawn care machinery.
  • Knowledge of turf management, fertilizer/pesticide application (PA certification an asset).
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Operating lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, and blowers.
  • Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control treatments in accordance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Performing lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, seeding, aeration, and overseeding.
  • Identifying lawn health issues such as weeds, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Maintaining and cleaning tools, machinery, and service vehicles regularly.
  • Interacting with clients on-site, providing basic service updates and recommendations as needed.
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Recording service activities, treatments applied, and site conditions.
  • Assisting in snow removal, spring/fall clean-ups, and other groundskeeping tasks as needed.
