Our client, Turf Medic in Greencastle, PA, is currently seeking a year-round high-performance Lawn Care Technician/Mechanic to join their expanding team. As a Lawn Care Technician/Mechanic, you will be set up for success with hands-on training, whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned pro. Key responsibilities include the following: · Applying fertilizers, weed control, and other treatments with a ride-on machine to keep lawns lush and healthy. · Operating and maintaining equipment like ride on applicators and small tractors. · Maintaining small engines, repairing equipment and vehicles, and diagnosing mechanical issues. · Communicating with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any questions. · Keeping a sharp eye out for lawn issues (weeds, pests, or damage) and reporting them to the team. · Maintaining a professional, friendly attitude while representing the company. Requirements · High School Diploma · Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is a plus but not necessary. Will provide training for the right candidate. · Previous mechanical experience including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. · A love for outdoor work and a can-do attitude. · Good communicator who is courteous, professional, and honest. · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (3+ years). · Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and working in various weather conditions. · Ability to work up to 50 hours per week (overtime eligible), Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm. · Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated team player.
