THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Graduate to 2-3 years post admission experience
  • Experience in Personal injury law (Dust/asbestos litigation, workers compensation or medical negligence) is required
  • Keen interest to specialise in this area of law
  • Experience in business development preferable
  • Strong legal, commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong client and relationship building skills
  • Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
  • Excellent organisation skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team

Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lawyer/Associate to join a collaborative and high performing team based in our Brisbane CBD office. Reporting to the Principal Lawyer for the Dust Diseases team, you will be constantly challenged by using your technical knowledge and experience in personal injuries litigation to strive for fair outcomes for our clients. Your excellent interpersonal communication skills, and ‘can-do’ attitude you will see you manage conflicting business needs and deadlines with confidence in your ability to prioritise accordingly. With your strong client focus and passion for helping people you will foster and manage relationships with referrers and other external parties while also looking to grow our incredible practice.
Our Asbestos, Silica and Occupational Disease Team have accumulated more than 20 years of experience in Dust Diseases litigation and pride themselves on ensuring that their clients not only receive the best compensation result but provide exceptional services during our client’s compensation journey.
