ABOUT THE ROLE

Exciting opportunity to work with leading insurers, large engineering consultancies and construction contractors and a wide range of other insureds in the construction, engineering, and property sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of commercial litigation matters under supportive supervision, including drafting correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits and other court documents
• Appearing at settlement conferences, tribunal, and court hearings
• Drafting detailed and comprehensive advice to clients
• Managing and building external client relationships and assisting with business development activities
• Maintaining client portals
• Collaborating with senior practitioners and other team members
• Coaching and mentoring junior lawyers
• Supporting graduates and seasonal clerks throughout their rotations
