Responsibilities
  1. Provide general legal advice, support, services and legal representation across the areas of law administered by the Department
    and in collaboration with the Solicitor for the Northern Territory and external legal service providers in the case management
    of complex and sensitive outsourced matters.
  2. Provide timely, high level service to clients including priority advices (verbal or written), agreements, correspondence, review
    of reports, and preparation of other materials for litigated and coronial matters in a complex, high volume practice.
  3. Maintain a high level of knowledge in the relevant areas of law and of relevant Departmental practices and procedures.
  4. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; prepare and present legal concepts, positions or factual analyses clearly
    and correctly.
  5. Represent NT Health, liaise with client divisions and deal with people and issues in a professional manner.
  6. Organise work so as to manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
  7. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken
    in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
