ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a lawyer to work on a wide range of lending transactions arising from the Bank’s FIC and Commodities Businesses. The role is based in the London office on the ICBCS trading floor.

• Reviewing, advising and providing transaction management support on a wide range of secured and unsecured structured loan facilities (including bilateral, club, syndicated, margin and NAV loans) for borrower in both developed and emerging markets. This will include the preparation and/or review of confidentiality agreements, commitment and mandate letters, term sheets, facility agreements, security and inter-creditor agreements, assignments, participation agreements and legal opinions.
• Reviewing and advising on a broad range of other types of documentation and related legal issues arising from the Bank’s FIC and Commodities businesses as and when required. In particular, some exposure to physical commodities or finance linked hedging would be helpful.
