ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will:
· be energetic and confident with superior analytical, problem-solving and communication skills;
· demonstrate competence in dispute resolution skills including mediation and negotiation;
· have experience assessing risk, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of legal disputes;
· have courtroom experience, including trial advocacy;
· be qualified for membership in the Law Society of Saskatchewan, having a minimum of 3 years of experience in active legal practice, including collaborative resolution and human rights law, or equivalent.
· have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code and Regulations, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, constitutional law, administrative law, labour law, and employment law.
