EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR INCLUDE:

• A member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
• 5-7 years of post-call experience in private practice providing services to First Nations.
• Experience running trials or contested applications/motions in Federal, superior, and appellate courts.
• Extensive experience drafting pleadings, conducting questionings and cross-examinations, as well as researching, analyzing, and interpreting legal issues.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Experience building and maintaining effective relationships and networks.
• Experience and a passion for mentoring others.
• A practice to build on would be considered an asset.
