Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 1st Shift Layup Operator for our Chandler, AZ Location. Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required) Skill Level: C Compensation: $22.25 per hour The Role: The lay-up operator is responsible for operating the automated equipment required to build the laminate master sheets for pressing. The operator will verify that the correct prepreg and copper materials are used according to the press plan, that the correct number of sheets is built for each order, and that the correct number of books has been built for the press load. You will be responsible for setting up, program, and operating automated equipment according to customer requirements directed by the work order. Accurately transacts material in and out of the SAP inventory tracking system, reporting material discrepancies when they are found. Reports any anticipated issues, work stoppage, equipment downtime, or any other problems and interruptions in the workflow are reported to the operations leader. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Prior machine operating experience- required Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and ERP systems- preferred Forklift Experience- preferred What's In It For You? REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential. PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
