Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled final-year student in physics or electronics to join our team as a Layout Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in CMOS circuit design and layout tools. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard design and verification tools. Qualifications Strong knowledge of CMOS circuit fundamentals. Experience with Layout Editor tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or similar tools. Familiarity with physical verification tools (e.g., Calibre DRC). Proficiency in Tcl or Perl scripting languages is a plus. English proficiency is a must, as clear communication with team members and understanding design rule documentation is critical for this role. Responsibilities Develop layer/device-oriented test cases and structures in the Virtuoso LE environment. Precisely interpret and apply design rule definitions in English, ensuring alignment with industry standards and communicating effectively with team members. Provide support for the Quality Assurance of Calibre DRC Runsets, ensuring the design passes all physical verification checks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize layout and design for manufacturability.
