QUALIFICATIONS

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role for a Layout Designer located in Pickering, ON. The Layout Designer will be responsible for creating and optimizing layout designs, working on page layouts, and using design tools such as AutoCad. The responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams to develop and refine elevator layouts, ensuring all designs meet high-quality standards and customer requirements.

DUTIES

  • Design and fabricate analog layouts using industry-standard tools and software.
  • Maintain documentation for all design processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate logic controllers into designs.
  • Apply mathematical principles to solve complex design challenges.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of layouts to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Use programming languages such as C and Python for automation of design processes where applicable.
