The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing physical layouts for integrated circuits (ICs), ensuring they meet design rules, performance, and area requirements. This role offers hands-on experience and opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement physical layouts for ICs using CAD tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor Graphics). 2. Ensure layouts meet design rules, performance, and area requirements. 3. Collaborate with design teams to understand layout requirements and constraints. 4. Perform layout verification, including DRC (Design Rule Checking) and LVS (Layout vs. Schematic). 5. Optimize layouts for performance, area, and manufacturability. 6. Assist in developing and maintaining layout design flows and methodologies. 7. Work with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, and manufacturing. 8. Participate in design reviews and contribute to layout quality improvement. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. 2. Basic knowledge of IC layout design principles and CAD tools. 3. Familiarity with layout design rules and verification techniques. 4. Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes. 5. Programming skills in languages like Python or Perl (optional). 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with layout design tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics Calibre). 2. Knowledge of layout design for manufacturability (DFM) principles. 3. Familiarity with industry-standard layout design flows. 4. Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal layout design.
