  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant technical field.
  • Two years of technical education and a trade certification in a relevant discipline are an advantage.
  • Experience with Aveva PDMS/E3D and a strong understanding of P&IDs and piping isometric drawings. Relevant experience can compensate for formal educational requirements if the candidate has a technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of or experience with document and information management processes.
  • Experience with oil and gas process facilities, including projects and studies.
  • Knowledge of 2D CAD tools such as MicroStation/AutoCAD and other CAD systems, as well as NavisWorks.
  • Familiarity with ASME, NORSOK, PED, TR2000, and other international standards is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

  • Monitor and report LCI progress against LCI milestones for 3D in projects.
  • Confirm LCI handover in accordance with project delivery milestones.
  • Advise project personnel on document management and LCI requirements for 3D.
  • Collaborate on optimizing good technical design and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain close collaboration with other disciplines and suppliers.
  • Perform CAD updates in accordance with submitted improvement proposals.
