Job Title: LCSW Clinical Supervisor – Outpatient Mental Health Services Job Summary:                                                    CASES is a New York City agency working at the forefront of the intersection between behavioral health and involvement in the criminal justice system. The Clinic programs division consists of an array of services for justice-involved individuals and community members with mental health diagnoses and serious mental illness; The Nathaniel Clinic provides OMH-licensed Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Recovery Services to adolescents and adults, with a focus on providing care to those involved in the criminal legal system.  The LCSW Clinical Supervisor directs and manages an effective clinical service delivery team using applicable principles of social work and counseling which includes patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning. The Clinical Supervisor must have a New York State LCSW in good standing Shift Hours: This position is full-time Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary: The salary range for the role is $80,000 – $90,000 per year.   Location Address: 2090 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10027. Our office is easily accessible by public transportation. Workplace Flexibility: Flexible - Staff have the flexibility to complete their workday from home or another suitable space, typically after reporting to the office and/or engaging in field or community-based work.   What You Will Be Doing:  * Provide culturally competent oversight, supervision, and management in accordance with CASES policies and the delivery of excellent Clinical services to address the needs of clients with behavioral and/or mental health needs. * Supervise staff in the intricacies of Outpatient Mental Health services and procedures, as well as OMH/CCBHC regulations. * Provide clinical supervision and training to staff and make recommendations for the optimal efficiency of clinical services, procedures and engagement. * Review and approve clinical documentation of clinic therapist including progress note, treatment plans, and crisis notes. * Follows up to determine reliability and validity of treatment used; makes recommendations regarding modification to services and service delivery. * Prepares and maintains reports and case histories. * Participate in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures. * Consults with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework; refers clients to appropriate service agencies as required. * Attends staff meetings and team conferences; leads team meetings as required. * Participates in, leads, and/or coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills. * Maintains current knowledge base on counseling issues regarding substance abuse and other psychosocial disorders through conferences, educational requirements for licensure, and applicable current literature. * Perform other related duties as assigned by Director.   What We Are Looking For:  * Must have a New York State LCSW in good standing * 2+ years of supervisory/management experience. * 3+ years of experience in human services with individuals with serious mental illness and those with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. * Strong knowledge of Medicaid Billing guidelines, CCBHC regulations, and OMH regulations. * Experience utilizing EHR/EMR programs, PSYCKES, and Healthix. * Experience understanding family systems based on diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. * Experience understanding various evidence-based models and theories pertaining to psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness and recovery.
