The Licensed Therapist provides direct clinical services to patients through individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This position focuses on delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed care, ensuring timely documentation, and supporting patients through individualized treatment plans and structured group programming. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required. Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of practice. Experience in outpatient behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and group facilitation preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative team environment. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy for individuals, couples, and families in accordance with clinical standards and organizational policies. Maintain a consistent caseload — scheduling a minimum of 8 patients per day to account for cancellations and reschedules, with an expectation to complete at least 32 patient sessions per week. Develop individualized treatment plans by the 4th therapy session for each active patient, ensuring goals are measurable and clinically appropriate. Conduct ongoing treatment plan reviews and update documentation in compliance with program and state requirements. Facilitate group therapy sessions using the Seeking Safety curriculum or other assigned evidence-based modalities. Each group should follow the same daily topic to maintain program consistency and fidelity. Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary team discussions to support coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in all patient and staff interactions. Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Performance Expectations Schedule and maintain 8 patients daily, with the goal of 32 completed sessions per week. Complete treatment plans within 4 appointments of patient admission. Facilitate groups as assigned and adhere to the Seeking Safety topic schedule. Submit documentation within program timeframes and maintain compliance with clinical quality standards.
