KEY FUNCTIONS

The Legal Services Section performs a variety of tasks to assist the Central Land Council fulfil its functions under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (NT) Act 1976 and Native Title Act 1993.
The Leasing Lawyer is a position responsible for supporting CLC’s Regional Lawyers, negotiating and drafting leases, seeking traditional owner and land owner consent as required, assisting the Leasing Coordinator and providing legal assistance to the legal team.
