Description

Lead and mentor a team of 2D animators: plan and assign work, align priorities, unblock delivery, and maintain a predictable production rhythm. Own animation quality and stylistic consistency across slot games, ensuring a cohesive visual language and feel. Conduct reviews and provide clear, actionable feedback; drive deliverables to a production-ready standard through polish, final passes, and improvements in clarity and impact. Contribute hands-on to key or complex animations and game features when speed, quality, and “wow” factor are critical. Establish, document, and continuously improve the animation pipeline: standards, templates, naming conventions, file structure, versioning, export rules, and integration requirements. Communicate progress, dependencies, and risks transparently, proactively managing timelines and quality expectations. Senior-level 2D animation background with proven leadership and/or mentorship experience within iGaming (slot games). Strong production mindset: ability to deliver at high speed without compromising quality, and to consistently bring work to a polished final state. Excellent motion fundamentals, including timing, spacing, dynamics, and a strong sense of impact/reward and readability. Advanced proficiency in Spine 2D, with solid understanding of integration workflows and optimization constraints (exports, performance budgets, implementation requirements). High visual taste and the ability to maintain and enforce a consistent style across multiple assets and contributors. Practical experience with production management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain pipeline discipline: structured files, consistent naming, version control habits, reliable exports, and deadline ownership. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including precise feedback and effective cross-functional coordination. Russian or Ukrainian languages. Responsibilities

The Lead 2D Animator will be responsible for leading and mentoring the animation team, planning work, ensuring animation quality and stylistic consistency across slot games, and conducting reviews with clear feedback. They will also contribute hands-on to critical animations and continuously improve the animation pipeline, standards, and documentation.
