Responsibilities

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for the consolidation of the International Business Wireline affiliate entity results on a monthly basis.
Carrying out consolidation HFM application, closing the monthly General Ledger for the International US Domestic holding company’s and managing intercompany balance positions with the International Team.
Preparing monthly entries to enable the consolidation process and preparing monthly Account Balance Reconciliations in accordance with AT&T policies.
Preparing and submitting periodic financial statistical information to the US Bureau of Economic Analysis as it relates to the International Business.
Processing and accounting for US Consolidated Statement Service international invoicing and cross-border equipment inventory movements.
Supporting the International and US Controller team with monthly financial analysis and periodic financial data.

Supporting ad hoc project work, for example, corporate restructuring, as it impacts on the International and holding company entities.

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement areas. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • General Ledger and Accounting Operations: Maintain all accounting systems and manage the general ledger. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, and manage records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as required to support financial health and operational efficiency, including cash flow management, budgeting, team leadership, system improvements, and stakeholder communication.

What you’ll need
Qualified CPA (or international equivalent) with 5+ years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
Previous experience working in a large Group accounting environment and exposure to accounting in multiple currencies would be desirable.
