Are you looking for a new opportunity to support the delivery of an excellent service to children and young people in Birmingham?
We are looking for a Lead Administrator who will be providing administrative and secretarial support for the Referral Management Centre within Mental Health Services. The RMC team operates Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.
The post holder will be managing a team of senior administrators, who are the first point of contact for those contacting the Service including patients, professionals, and members of the public. Working in a busy office environment and reporting directly to the Operational Support Manager, the post holder should be able to act independently, using their own initiative. Opportunity exists for the post holder to make recommendations for service improvement by working alongside admin staff as well as clinical and operational leads.
This is a key role supporting the effective running of the RMC Service. All applicants must demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, work well with others and have a passion to providing a quality service with a track record of adding value to a work place.
This is a key role supporting the effective running of the Referral Management Centre within Mental Health Services.
The post holder will organise all duties and procedures necessary for the effective operation of the administrative functions of the team, developing work plans and allocating work to achieve team objectives, taking into account individual abilities and developmental needs.
It includes the general management of the office administration systems and the day-to-day supervision of the RMC administration team, coordinating and delegating work, monitoring and reviewing the team performance and providing advice and support as necessary.
