JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) LEAD - NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Responsible for general oversight of assigned APP staff. This includes ensuring required educational and professional development needs are met, communication, scheduling of staff and providers are practicing within their scope and compliant with regulatory bodies. This individual will take a leadership role and drive institute quality metrics, maximize productivity and contain costs. The lead APP will participate in assessing institute APP needs, hiring, and evaluating staff.
The Lead APP will provide high quality, efficient medical care to patients in the outpatient Neurology ambulatory service line as an Advanced Practice Provider Lead in collaboration with Physicians and other medical staff.

Experience Required
Minimum of 18 months working as Licensed Advanced Practice Provider.
Education Requirements
Master’s Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
License/Certification Requirements
New Jersey license for Advanced Nurse Practitioner & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. American Heart Association BLS certification

Schedule - Days/Hours: Full time – 40 hours weekly
