We’re looking for an experienced Lead Advisor, Enterprise Risk to partner with senior leaders, challenge thinking and help shape how risk is managed at an enterprise level. About us | Mō mātou ACC is a trusted and high‑performing organisation, providing care, supporting recovery and promoting injury prevention, now and into the future.   You can find more about ACC and the work we do at acc.co.nz.   About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi   This is a high-impact, relationship-led role where you will act as a trusted 2nd line advisor to DCEs, senior leaders and business groups. Working as part of a small, high-performing Enterprise Risk team, you play a key role in lifting risk maturity across ACC by helping senior leaders to make confident, risk-informed decisions in a complex environment.   The appointing salary for this role is $125,000 - $151,000 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.   What You’ll Do:   * Partner with senior leaders: For your portfolio of business groups, build trusted relationships with DCEs and senior leaders by providing pragmatic advice that supports risk-informed decision-making. * Lead risk conversations that matter: Facilitate quarterly enterprise risk reviews and workshops with senior stakeholders and challenge their thinking on controls, treatment strategies and risk appetite.  * Shape risk reporting: Contribute insights, risk trends and themes to shape Executive and Board reporting. * Enable better risk practices: Coach and influence business groups to improve risk practices and contribute to continuous improvement of frameworks, tools, training and guidance.   About you | Mōu If you’re looking for a role where you can influence decisions, challenge thinking, and help shape how risk is managed at an enterprise level, we’d love to hear from you.   You will bring:   * Strong risk management experience: You will have five or more years’ experience working in a risk, compliance, assurance or risk advisory function. * Experience in a complex organisation: Practical application of risk frameworks in a complex organisations. * Trusted relationships: Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with senior leaders and staff and build strong working relationships for mutual benefit. * Emotional intelligence: Demonstrated through sound judgement, even temperament and the ability to influence and motivate others. * Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to new information or areas of work and manage time effectively. * Exceptional communication skills: Both written and verbal.  * You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.   Working at ACC | Mō ACC At ACC, we embrace the rich tapestry of Aotearoa New Zealand’s cultures and are dedicated to providing equitable opportunities.
