About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi As a Lead Advisor – Prevention (Sexual Violence) you will provide specialist, high‑quality advice to support the design and delivery of integrated, evidence‑based approaches that help prevent sexual violence. This role plays a critical part in improving outcomes for Kiwis by helping reduce injuries and address inequities in injury risk across communities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to apply data, evidence and systems thinking to shape prevention programmes that are effective, culturally responsive and sustainable. Your work will directly influence how ACC targets harm, scales successful initiatives and delivers meaningful impact for people, whānau and communities. We’re seeking a dedicated Lead Advisor to join our dynamic Injury Prevention team. You’ll play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice, supporting programme design and evaluation, and influencing prevention approaches that help prevent sexual violence. This is a Lead Advisor role within the Injury Prevention team. You will have demonstrated experience providing senior or specialist advice in sexual violence prevention, family or sexual harm, public health, social services, or related complex policy or programme environments. The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 and $139,000 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
