You will also play a key role in guiding the team, driving efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Operations Ensure smooth and timely processing of ocean export shipments Prepare and verify export documentation Manage accurate data entry, billing, and job costing Coordinate shipments with customers and meet service expectations Monitor shipments to ensure customer satisfaction Follow customer SOPs and company procedures Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Team & Performance Support workload distribution within the team Monitor workboards and ensure KPIs are met Guide and mentor team members Promote a positive and collaborative team environment Drive adoption of tools and process improvements Customer & Business Support Build and maintain strong customer relationships Support pricing requests in line with customer needs and market conditions Contribute to customer retention and CRM updates Monitor invoicing and ensure accuracy Communicate proactively with stakeholders Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Ocean Export or freight forwarding Good understanding of export operations and documentation Knowledge of Expeditors systems, products, and processes Strong customer service mindset Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong organization and time management skills Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to support and guide team members Preferred: Hazardous Materials certification Additional Information Expeditors offers excellent benefits: Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick Time Health Plan: Medical Life Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Training and Personnel Development Program
