Lead AI Engineer The Lead AI Engineer is a senior technical leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise in AI solution development. This role not only guides and mentors AI Engineers but actively contributes to designing, building, and deploying advanced AI systems. The Lead AI Engineer collaborates closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify high-impact opportunities, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and compliance standards. The position fosters a culture of responsible AI innovation and continuous improvement. The lead AI engineer works closely with Enterprise Architecture and platform teams to ensure that architecture standards respective delivery processes are aligned with latest AI technologies. Drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions across business functions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation using the innovation funnel. Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise architecture, ethical standards, regulatory requirements, information security standards and internal governance frameworks. Mentor and develop AI talent, fostering a high-performing and innovative team culture. Represent the organization in external AI forums and contribute to shaping industry standards. Influence enterprise-wide technology decisions and contribute to AI strategy development. Lead by example through hands-on design, coding, and deployment of AI solutions. Establish best practices for Machine Learning Operatios, model lifecycle management, and production-grade AI systems. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and platform teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems and ensure scalability and maintainability. Proven track record in designing and implementing AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Experience in financial services or similar regulated industries is a plus. Deep knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI. Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) and ethical AI principles. Experience deploying AI models into production environments at scale. Proficiency in software engineering principles, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
