Position Title: Lead AI/Java Developer
Location: Hybrid

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AI/Java Developer to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced AI-driven applications. The individual will be responsible for overseeing critical projects, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure AI and cloud-based solutions. This position combines hands-on development with technical leadership, supporting innovation, process efficiency, and data integrity.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or C++.
• Experience with data platforms and tools including Oracle, Databricks, Elastic/ELK.
• Strong background in data processing and analysis using SQL, R, and/or Pandas.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Knowledge of OCR technologies such as Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• Experience in chatbot development and conversation design, including tools such as Dialogflow ES/CX and Google Assistant SDK.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and cloud-based integration.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure AI services for deploying and managing AI models.
• Strong understanding of unit and integration testing, debugging, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience designing and optimizing enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning, neural networks, and computer vision.
• Proven track record of building AI-enabled applications in production environments.

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of AI and machine learning applications.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development teams across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, define solutions, and align system enhancements with business objectives.
• Ensure system compliance with established methodologies, best practices, and secure development standards.
• Perform advanced programming and integration across various platforms and technologies.
• Support ongoing maintenance, optimization, and performance monitoring of AI applications.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and testing.
