About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Alternative Investments Product Consultant (Lead Product Manager) to support the Alternative Investments Group within Wealth and Investment Management. This role is designed for a seasoned product professional with deep expertise across alternative investments—particularly hedge funds—along with private equity, private credit, and real asset strategies. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com In this role, you will: Support the expansion of the alternative investments platform and lead fund launch efforts across private equity, private credit, private real assets, and hedge fund offerings Contribute to platform growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic targets Oversee and manage agreements with external investment managers, including leading business negotiations and maintaining strong partnerships Maintain deep product knowledge for assigned investment offerings, ensuring accurate representation and support across the organization Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on alternative investment products, processes, and strategies for internal consultants, investment professionals, and cross functional teams Lead fund onboarding processes, including the creation and approval of marketing collateral, term sheets, and product pages, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Manage product specific collateral for both open and closed alternative investment offerings Resolve escalated issues related to marketing materials and performance reporting, ensuring timely and accurate communication Coordinate the publication schedule for product collateral updates in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Develop educational materials and respond to ad hoc sales and product support requests, providing hands on product management Collaborate with internal teams including broker/dealer, Private Bank, consulting, marketing, legal, compliance, and operations to support product initiatives and platform success Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Experience across alternative investments, including private equity, private debt, private real estate, and hedge funds Background in fund onboarding, product operations, and performance reporting Ability to interpret hedge fund and private capital data, manager commentary, and reporting Strong ability to translate complex investment concepts for advisors, stakeholders, and clients Proven problem‑solving skills related to fund operations, reporting, and marketing materials Knowledge of regulatory and risk considerations for alternative investment products Experience developing PowerPoint presentations for clients and senior leadership Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external partners Ability to manage complex, cross‑functional processes and projects Excellent communication, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Hybrid work schedule Location: Charlotte, NC Support the expansion of the alternative investments platform. Support the on-boarding process of alternative investments funds including; Creation and approval of marketing collateral for fund launches, work with fund partners and iCapital to ensure compliance and legal standards are met, creation and approval of term sheets and product pages. Support the marketing, education, and communication efforts of investment products for financial professionals and home office staff.
