Responsibilities Description % Of Time Spent · Reporting Under general direction, independently execute routine & intermediate transactions and resolve problems. Prepare and validate reports and maintain controls in alignment with internal policies and clients' needs. Coordinate information and data flow into and out of the report production process. 50% · Stakeholder Interaction & Problem solving Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, legal, relationship management, IT, banks, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, and/or traders to obtain information and resolve problems. 25% · Self-Initiated Research Enhance understanding of Principal Global Investors' products, team procedures, and clients' needs through self-initiated research, participation in available training programs and involvement in on-going investment activities. 15% · Other Project related activities Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required. 10% Qualifications • At least 15 years of formal education preferably in Finance/Commerce. • Minimum of 5-8 years’ Account/Finance/Reporting experience in the domain of Mutual Funds/Asset Management, Banking, or any other financial services organization. • Able to perform data analysis using “What If Analysis Function” should be able to understand/manipulate/present data, trends using basic statistical formulae. Experience with large data sets and database relationships. • Expertise in MS Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, Graphs). • Hands on documentation, making SOP, understanding of workflow and willingness to work in multiple shifts. • Good comprehension skills, analytical skills, good typing skills, detail-oriented, multitasking, ability to prioritize, good written & verbal communication skills, experience in navigating the internet. Ability to work on different applications. • Knowledge of, or ability to obtain knowledge of, financial services and investment related jargons. • Consistently able to meet timing requirements and maintain SLA and produce work with high degree of accuracy. • Strong attention to detail to demonstrate possession of problem solving and interpersonal skills. • Able to read and interpret request, apply correct rules, accurately process data inputs, and consistently do repetitive work. • Success in this position requires a client service orientation, the ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven, team-based environment. Must be able to prioritize effectively and be flexible as business needs change.
