Description
The Lead Analyst, Inpatient Clinical Documentation Analyst acts as the secondary support contact for the Inpatient (Clinical) Applications. Performs and coordinates complex analysis, design, development, testing and support services for assigned applications. Responsible for and oversees day-to-day tracking of issues and questions of daily operations as it pertains to the application. The Lead Analyst, Inpatient Clinical Documentation role is a full time role that will require flexibility of schedules of working hours. Hours may be subject to change to support the application during upgrades and on call. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field. * Experience working on medium to large size projects of 500-1000+ hours * Experience working in a Healthcare environment * New York Staff Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Professional Nurse or equivalent -- PREFERRED * EPIC Clinical Documentation Certification -- PREFERRED * EPIC Orders Certificate - PREFERRED * Certificates in other Epic Inpatient Clinical modules - PREFERRED * Knowledge of the client areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff. * Knowledge of applications security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor standards and regulatory bodies.. * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams * Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues * Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one's own work independently in a fast --paced environment with changing priorities. * Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.) * Demonstrates ability to develop complex specifications for all aspects of applications, and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations and application integration * Knowledge of coding.
